I like to keep frozen pizzas in my freezer just in case my family needs a quick meal. I love ones made by
Kashi because the crust is made with whole grains and they're really flavorful. They used to only make
regular-crust pizza, but then they came out with
thin crust.

I've already raved about
Kashi's Mountain Medley Granola, but in case that wasn't enough to get you to try it, you'll be happy to know that Kashi is mailing out
free samples. How sweet is that. All you have to do is fill out the form
here and you'll receive your free single serving of this delicious granola within six to eight weeks.

Sometimes I feel like
Kashi's number one fan because I love (and eat) their food so much. Their GoLean and
GoLean Crunch cereals have been staples in my pantry for a while now (even my girls love them), so I was itching to try something new. I picked up a box of
Autumn Wheat.
Want to know what I thought and see how it compares to my other two favorite Kashi cereals.

When buying organic and natural-food brands, such as
Kashi and
Naked Juice, you may think you're supporting small, independent companies. But often these brands are actually owned by major conglomerates: Kellogg, in the case of Kashi, and Pepsi for Naked Juice.
I was excited to find this
very cool chart in the latest issue of
Good magazine, which breaks down most of the major natural brands by their corporate owners. For the details, read more.
Some of these definitely did not surprise me: I figured that Morningstar Farms had a corporate owner, and I've read before that Muir Glen is owned by General Mills.

We all have those times when we just want to pop something in the oven, or microwave and have it come out ready, healthy, and tasty. A simple goal for the girl standing in the freezer aisle at the grocery store pondering hundreds of frozen foods, right. Wrong.
