Earlier in the week we awarded Kate Moss the Best British style icon with Alexa Chung taking up best newcomer but today it's a joint award for Best International Style Icon. You voted but were torn between Gossip Girl Blake Lively and actress Kate Bosworth. Blake Lively's style in the TV show is based on Kate Moss creating a very British look.

Kate Bosworth and James Rousseau spent another night out in LA doing some holiday shopping on Thursday, though instead of hitting up Barneys like they did on Wednesday, they visited Nordstrom at The Grove. The location might have been different, but Kate was still rocking the acid-wash Topshop jeans and Chloe bag she loves so much. If James is at a loss as to what to get his girl for Christmas, maybe he can pick up a couple pieces that can become her new wardrobe staples for 2009.

One thing is certain: Kate Bosworth loves and therefore lives in her Topshop acid-wash jeans and red Chloe buckle boots. It's admirable — despite being photographed constantly, she rewears her favorite pieces. This time around, she wore them while hanging out with her model boyfriend at The Grove in LA.

Kate Bosworth was out to dinner with friends in LA on Wednesday night, but she was in San Francisco earlier this week to attend a benefit for Global Green, the environmental organization she's long supported along with some of the special guys in her life. She spoke at the event, looking fabulous in her specially designed eco-friendly Phillip Lim dress, and chatted with us all about her earth-friendly diet, as well as a new project, car, and what she's up to this holiday season. Kate Bosworth headed to San Francisco last night to attend the Global Green USA’s Gorgeous & Green event. She looked amazing in a dress from 3.1 Phillip Lim's Spring 2009 collection. Her version of the dress was actually specially made for her being produced from solely green materials. 
You know, you hear about celebrities being environmental activists, but to see it seals the deal.
We love Kate Bosworth; she's so cute and her style is ever evolving. We were super excited when we found out she was going to co-host this year's Gorgeous and Green benefit in San Francisco.

On Tuesday night I was invited to the Gorgeous and Green benefit in San Francisco.
The event was hosted by Global Green, an environmental nonprofit that focuses on global climate change through green initiatives. Not only did I taste an amazing eco-friendly wine, but I also got the chance to speak with the hostess of the night, actress Kate Bosworth.
