I weigh myself twice a week. If I don't, I gain weight as I can easily convince myself there's nothing wrong with an extra handful of m&ms or cinnamon toast. I find it helpful in maintaining.

I used to convince myself that i was getting more "fit" even if the scale wasn't moving (i.e. i thought i was just gaining muscle), but when the scale moved a little (downward thank goodness) i could make a direct correlation with that and being my "ideal size". So now I weigh myself more than once a week to keep myself in check like sandy said. This is an interesting topic though bc I've discussed it with my friends and we realize every woman's body is so different in terms of weight and how clothes fit for determining how they feel with weight gain or loss.

Well, my scale broke about 6 months ago, and I haven't bothered to get it replaced, so only when I go to the doctor now.

I don't have my own scale, so I weigh myself just about every weekend at my mom's house.

I'm trying to lose weight, and (almost) every website with various advice tells me that I should only weigh myself once a week, but I find that every day works better for me. It helps me keep myself in check, and once a week will not always tell the "truth", as my weight tends to jump a bit up and down arbitrary (within about 2-3pounds, just, you know, different 2-3 pounds

The last time I weighed myself was in March with my cousin. I had used my sister's father's scale and he said he has his own because the scales at the doctor's office aren't level. I am supposed to be 100 pounds, but I'm 103. Good weight. I rarely weigh myself though because my grandmother's scale broke and I just don't trust the doctor's scale anymore lol.

I only get weighed at the doctor. I'd rather not know how much I weigh, just how I look and how my clothes fit is good enough for me. Last time I went to the doctors I weighed the most Ive ever weighed in my life and Ive been freaking out ever since. SO Ive been calorie counting (for the first time in my life) and I hope to see the scale go way down next time I drop by the doctor's.

If I weighed myself I'd only get self-conscious and depressed about the number. While I don't like the way I look at least I'm not obsessing about a number.

I tend to weigh myself every day to keep myself in check; if the number is higher than I'm used to seeing, I will keep myself in control with eating for that day as well as trying to walk more during the day. It might be somewhat obsessive, but it keeps me at the weight I want to be.

I used to weigh myself every day and it got me into big trouble, so I've been trying for once a week. The thing is, I've slipped a couple of times and started getting on it every day - I have a real problem. I guess it's better than never getting on it, which is what I did for awhile....

I haven't had a scale in many years. Weighing myself was a compulsive, unhealthy thing that helped me on my way to an eating disorder. Now I am only weighed when I go for my yearly gyn appointment, and I still dread that. my average/normal weight has been in a 10 lb range since I was 15 years old (I'm 30) so there isn't any point in getting stressed out over weighing 5 lbs more or less from week to week.

i never used to weigh myself, but my weight kept creeping up & up. i tried just keeping track of how my clothes fit & going by that, but it was wayyy easier to tell myself that my jeans just shrunk in the wash or whatever. now i weigh myself every day & have seen my weight steadily drop from watching what i eat & working out more.

I weigh myself when I remember to because I'm good with forgetting to. I don't like depending on how my clothes fit alone. I'm still losing weight and even when I finish I rather keep myself in check and there's not necessarily a big enough difference in how my clothes fit that I want to depend on that alone. I don't obsess over the number so I don't feel like being one of those people who doesn't weigh themselves just because it makes other people obsessive about it. It works for me.

During my active weight loss, I use my Wii Fit to do daily weigh-ins. I like seeing how my body fluctuates over the weekends, after eating too much, etc. It keeps me in tune

Probably only every couple of months. I tend to forget and don't feel the need to unless I notice an obvious weight gain or loss, which is pretty rare for me.

I'm going to start doing it once a week with a scale at work. I dont own a scale because I know it would discourage me. I'm trying to start measuring myself once every two weeks though and see if that helps me. Though I weigh myself less I keep track of what I eat on fatsecret.com so I know when my calorie intake becomes out of control and what I'm eating that is really hindering my weight loss.

Every morning before I shower. I just like to keep track of where I'm at. I've been within the same 5 lb range for a year now, so that's good. I keep track of any weight loss or gain by how my clothes fit, so I'm not worried about what the scale says.

I'm a sicko that weighs myself all the time. It's a problem and I have to put the scale away or I will keep stepping on it. A nurse told me to be skeptical of a doctor's scale because often they have not been calibrated in years (meaning it hasn't been tested and reset). Now that's a relief.

I have one of those digital scales, and it drives me nuts! If I drink more water or tea one day then I gain .5 lbs. It's very discouraging and frustrating. I try to weigh myself about two-three times a week to avoid to whole liquid issue.

I've been tracking my weight as I try to slim down, so I weigh myself "for the record" once a week. But I do check in between weigh-ins; I like to weigh with clothes and then naked, or before and after going to the bathroom, to see just how much difference my pajamas or a full bladder make. It's sort of fun, in a weird way.

Once or twice a year, when I go for a physical. I judge my weight by how my clothes fit and how I feel.

Every day. Because if I eat a little more one day the next morning I will see that I'm a little more (1/2 a pound to a pound) so I am extra careful that day or for two days until I'm back to my weight and less. I find that much more effective than once a week.

Never! I haven't weighed my self in about 8 years. Only my doctor and personal trainer know what I weigh. As long as I'm happy with how I look and how my clothes fit, why stress myself out with a number?

Every few weeks. I can tell my weight by how my clothes feel. It's all psychological, too, for me. If I see a low number, then subconsciously I think that maybe I can eat MORE, and will! So, I don't do the scale often.

I'm trying REALLY hard to stay off the scale. I think I'm just going to take it out of my apartment. I want to judge by how I feel and how my clothes fit, not a number.

I weigh myself every morning now. I was on a really bad diet last summer and lost too much weight. I had a hard time gaining most of it back. So now I am paranoid about losing weight again and have to weigh myself every morning to reassure myself that I am still there.

Never! I simply cannot base my progress or the way I look on how much I weigh, especially when I'm gaining muscle from working out.
