patience is probably the key word. it takes a while for that new program to kick in, but after a while, you will see results

    I agree with 1, 3, and 4.

As far as a partner in crime, becoming healthy is 100% on YOU, not someone else. What if your partner in crime starts to fall back in old ways, and skip workouts, does that mean you can too?
And I would not recomend buying a new outfit. Afterall, it wont fit in a few weeks. I would buy the outfit as a reward, after you drop a few pounds!

I'm with NdH on this one. My partner in crime dropped out and has been very bitter towards me since I'm losing more weight than her. As for a new outfit: I bought one, which was fun to start out with, but it didn't fot after three months, so I'm stickingto 4 dollar sweatpants right now until I'm steady.

I would think the partner in crime would be last on my list. I can't count on someone else to get my butt moving.

Great list! I agree *absolut* - there are days I would not make it through my workout without great music.

What a great list! Though I have to agree that a new outfit, while fun, I'd rather save it for the rockin' bod I'll have when I reach my goals! I have a great partner in crime. She lives 3 hours away but we talk on IM everyday and we use that as a way to encourage and push each other. Would I still be getting fit without her - yes! - but it's way more fun with her even if it's only "virtually". Smiling
