Six Ways to Get Back on Track

Sunday mornings may start out lazy, but by the time afternoon rolls around, I always feel like it is time to get back on track. Creating a simple routine helps me make sure I have all my duckies in a row, from clean gym clothes packed in my gym bag to a meal plan for the week and steel cut oats started for breakfast. I love ending my weekend with a nice relaxing soak in the tub, which helps me sleep better so I start my upcoming week refreshed and ready to go.

Here are my suggestions for how to get back on track after a busy weekend.

Wash Your Workout Clothes

Plan Your Meals

Schedule Your Workouts

Pack Your Gym Bag

Start Your Oats For Breakfast

Relax With a Bath

What do you do to ensure that you start your week off on the right foot? Tell me how you get back on track in the comments section below.

i have to agree that sometimes it's hard to get back into the mindset to work out on Monday and to get back into the swing of things for the work week - so these are some GREAT tips .

I always overdo it on Saturdays lately because that is when I am home catching upon my DVR, since my boyfriend and I live pretty far apart at the moment. Awful!

every sunday i do my laundry, so i have plenty of workout clothes for the week. i pack my bag at night with workout clothes and my lunch. i always think about breakfast and lunch the night before. it is a great way for me to get back into the week, especially after a lazy Sunday!

I try not to think about Mondays at all until the moment the alarm clock goes off!

I have to meal plan! I've become almost obsessive about it!! But I've noticed hubby & I don't eat out very often now, except when he talks me out of my planning...

On Sundays, I go grocery shopping and stock up on all my nice healthy foods. I also do my laundry and lay out my workout clothes for Monday and get everything ready for my week ahead.

I always do all my housework on Sunday. It somehow makes it easier to go back to work knowing that things are set and organized at my home.

I lay out my work out clothes EVERY night before bed. It helps me get up and on the treadmill faster, and keeps me accountable (because I know that if I don't exercise, those clothes will still be sitting on the edge of my vanity when I get home from work!)
