Broccoli. It's a green powerhouse of vitamins, fiber, and calcium. It scored the top ranking of 100 on the Overall Nutritional Quality Index. Even knowing this, I'm embarrassed to admit that this green veggie is just one of those foods that I don't eat as often as I should. Sweet potatoes and walnuts are on that list, too. I'm sure you have a list as well so tell me, what foods do you think you should eat more often?

It's funny the different eating habits people have. I'm a vegetarian and a bit of a health food nut - I try to stick to the 'good' fats like olive oil and I don't eat refined sugar or white flour. I eat a lot of vegetables, usually around six to seven servings a day, fruit, grains and legumes, so I think I generally cover most of the nutritional bases. I probably should include a few more fats though and a few of the orange vegetables. I actually love roasted pumpkin; I don't know why I don't eat it more. Oh, and calcium. I have milk every day, but I don't eat yoghurt the way I used to anymore, and I know it's really important for women in particular to get enough calcium.

Avocado.
