Fatblogging: Lifestyle Change IS a Way of Life

We all know things like dieting, lifestyle change, eating healthy, and making exercise a priority are difficult. No matter what you call it or how you go about it - change is hard and changing old habits can be really hard.

Well there is a new movement afoot on the web explicitly titled fatblogging. You blog about the hows and whys of losing weight. Dish on what's working for you, or not, and how you feel about. Most importantly, you blog daily (change is a DAILY thing) and enter your weight as the title. Jason Calacanis, no stranger to the power of the "blogosphere" (he's CEO and co-founder of Weblogs Inc.), decided to make his talk walk - literally. He came up with the concept of fatblogging and invited anyone working on a weight loss venture to join him.

The world wide web can become your community. Real people, doing real things, and blogging about them, plus helping each other out with tips and support. Now that is something I can truly put my weight behind (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Why not set up a blog here at TeamSugar. It is easy to do - click here to learn how. Of course, you are always invited to join the Diet Support Group.

I added my blog to a ring called the "Future MILF's"...we're supposed to post updates on Fridays...but I've been horrible and haven't posted once. (To be fair, I never knew she actually added me to the group until another member called me on it and visited me!)

Anyway...I'm kind of embarassed to put that stuff on my blog.
And The Man H.A.T.E.S. the name of the group. So, I've been thinking about removing myself.

I'm not in a webring nor do I have a blog here, but I have a fitness/weightloss blog on LiveJournal, and it really keeps me motivated. I can't ignore the trends that pop up, and it helps me track my progess as well as see what excuses I keep using over and over.
