Get Your Butt in Gear: Wicking Undies

When you work out, you get sweaty. Everywhere. Sweaty panties are just oh so uncomfortable. Also, dealing with cotton undies that bunch and ride all up in your business can be a pain too.

So I found some high performance panties from Patagonia. These hipsters, although $20 apiece, are totally worth the dough. You wouldn't wear a sports bra made of cotton so why would you wear cotton undies? These are made with a soft, breathable, moisture-wicking blend of nylon and spandex fabric, so you can work up a sweat and not feel like you peed in your pants.

The waistband is extra-wide, and they sit at your hips so you don't have to worry about them peeking out the top of your lowrider running skirt, shorts, or pants. And the best part? There are no annoying seams to deal with.

They come in tons of cute colors and designs. To see a close-up, click on the picture below.

    Any panties that don't have lines crisscrossing my thighs that are visible beneath my jogging pants from a mile away are worth their weight in gold.

    I have a bunch of pairs of Patagonia undies - hipsters, briefs, and thongs. I LOVE them, wear them every day to work or wherever and wear the thongs for light workouts like yoga (not running though!). I highly recommend these and suggest searching the web to find them them on sale because they are quite expensive if you're buying multiple pairs.

    Great idea!! I hate that feeling of wet underwear after a run....
    Now, if they'd just add thongs....I'm sold.

    I like them!! Kind of pricey though! At one upscale gym I used to go to in Santa Monica, a lot of the women wouldn't wear ANYTHING under their Lululemon pants. Its quite gross. You'd think with all the money they have, they would buy themselves a pair of these!!

    these seem a lot like the seamless undies I already have, I will have to check the tags for nylon/spandex content but they sound and look a lot like I am already wearing and I think they run me $18 a pair so maybe so.

    No sweat undies are a must have! I prefer the boy cut short by Patagonia because the lines don't show as much. I also like Title Nine no sweat bikini style undies, too. However, the best way to get around this is to buy running tights, running skirts, workout bottoms that have built in "undies" in the clothes. I prefer Oiselle Running tights and Skirt Sports or atalanta athleticwear skirts for these reasons.

    Oh wow! I love this topic because very few companies address "us" ..."down there" when it comes to exercising and comfort.

    I prefer thongs to granny panties and there are some great options for getting in shape while still looking sexy.

    I like the NiteSweatz thongs. They tend to run a little small, but once you get your favorite size, these undies are the most comfortable in my drawer.

    NiteSweatz has boyshortz as well as other styles of panties too, but for me, nothing beats thongs. {wink}

    I really enjoy the whole "wicking" clothes thing. I used to wear my husbands running shirts because they felt so good against my skin. Now women have their own.

    Woo Hoo.

    Chris.
